”Wow, we love them!! So many great moments and lovely to see so many pics of our friends and family too. Thank you so much for being a big part of our day, you were brilliant and we had lots of comments to that effect from our parents and other guests.”
When Marianne first phoned me we had a long discussion about their day, and she expressed how important it was for them to feel as though they could fully relax and not be forced into cheesy poses etc. Luckily this is exactly the way I work, making sure I’m friendly to guests and not over-bearing, but giving a little direction with regards to locations for certain photographs. I’m pleased to say this day was as amazing for me to photograph as it was for David and Marianne to experience, and I am so thankful for the chat we had at the beginning so we were both on the same page and knew exactly how we would work together. They were married at a stunning little church atop a hill overlooking fields on all sides, and even the Severn bridge in the distance, it really was quite breathtaking. After a shower of confetti, they and all their guests made their way down the hill to the incredible marquee, set up and run by the awesome Olivia at Host Event Management (highly recommend Olivia and her team, they were super efficient and the food was DELICIOUS!). There was an awful lot of laughter, Pimms, sunshine, happy faces and most definitely some tears too. All in all, an utterly perfect day, finished off with some energetic Ceilidh dancing, always so much fun to photograph!! Thank you again Marianne and David for being such lovely people to work with, I truly had an amazing time, and felt so welcomed by your lovely family. Congratulations again!! xxx
