“We absolutely love the photographs!!! We were both tearful after looking at them while enjoying our first evening at home with big glasses of Italian wine in our hands. I had no doubts that we’d be happy but you even surpassed those expectations. I can’t begin to say which are our favourites but we were wowed by the sweet ones in the market, the super creative theatre shots and the excellent conga in action. Beautiful!! What was also impressive was how the photographs told a story and you seemed to capture so many different expressions and moods from the day.”
Drury Lane Theatre Wedding, Clos Maggiore
Oh this wedding, I actually felt sad after I chose these images, because they brought back such lovely memories of Natalie and Doug’s incredible day at The Theatre Royal at Drury Lane and I was sad that it was all over! I felt such a connection to Natalie and Doug and both their families having spent the day celebrating with them, even being invited to share in their exceptional five course dinner at Clos Maggiore. It was a wedding like no other, with their ceremony held in the Grand Saloon, and an opportunity for portraits inside the amazing theatre itself. After the confetti, we walked across the cobbles of Covent Garden and partied the night away with incredible food, even better wine and a whole heap of fun and laughter. I felt so attached to their guests and even after I had said my goodbyes at the end I was called back in to eat my dessert! The evening was rounded off by Natalie’s father starting a conga line through the restaurant and out onto the streets, SO much fun! Natalie looked so beautiful and I adored her sense of style, and her two bridesmaids were just gorgeous girls inside and out. I LOVED shooting this Drury Lane Theatre wedding, and would absolutely love to shoot more!
